From the maiden release of the 2001, this benchmark wine has redefined South Africa's own red grape variety, Pinotage, with its classic, refined styling and unique complex character. A tighter style of Pinotage with denser, but finer-grained tannins than other shale grown Pinotage in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
